How secure is Online Banking?
-
Internet Banking will require you to enter a username and password. You should never distribute your username and password. Your username and password should never be written down. In addition, your Internet service provider must support Secured Socket Layers (SSL) and your browser must use a 128-bit encryption level. Your banking session data is encrypted (secure) when a closed lock image appears in the address bar of your internet browser. When a session is insecure, a lock image is not shown. When you are finished using Online Banking, you should always logout.
